When Jamir Jagr was growing up in the Check Republic he was told
in order to improve your shot the puck must feel like a feather.
After hearing this Jagr decided to tape a forty (40) pound weight to
the end of his stick. Everyday he would stickhandle for an hour
with the puck. After that he would take 300 shots in to the side
of an old shed. When it came time for a game the puck felt like
a feather and to this day Jagr still practices with the forty pound
weight on his stick. |
